CIMIC activity in Herat

The Italian Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) of Train Advise Assist Command West (TAAC-W) recently carried out some important donations in favor of the Police and female organizations of HERAT.

Thanks to Italian CIMIC funded projects, some Medical kits, first-aid backpacks and CCTV technical equipment have been delivered to 606 th Police Department of HERAT following an introduction briefing of TAAC-W Commander Gen. Massimo BIAGINI on the area security situation and the training requirements of next courses.

In fact, The TAAC-W, besides other tasks, is in charge of the training and development process of the Afghan Uniform Police, Afghan Border Police and Afghan National Civil Order Police, in harmonization with Army Units operation planning.

Few days earlier, TAAC-W provided communications and information devices for a ten-sit multimedia room in favor of Female Affairs Department besides some sport equipment in favor of the female organization WEESSDO (Women Economy Social & Sport Development Organization).

The projects master plan 2017, established in close cooperation with the Multinational CIMIC Group specialists in support of the population, functioned again as a multiplayer effort in line with the main goal of Resolute Support mission: the Afghan Security Forces training and progress.
