I WORLD WAR CONFERENCE AT MN CIMIC GROUP

The National Infantry Association gave a historical lecture at “Mario Fiore” Barracks

A conference about the First World War has been held by the “National Infantry Association”, section of Treviso, in favor of Multinational CIMIC Group Soldiers in order to valorize the historical period which has conducted to modern society and to emphasize the sensibility about the soldiers’ deeds made from 1914 to 1918. The speakers retraced the most important moments of the IWW, underlining curiosities and stories about soldiers’ lives in trenches. Relics and historic objects have been showed and explained to the audience; moreover a very interesting and emotional video has been projected with the aim to expound the atrocities and the difficulties that the first part of XX century’s society suffered during and after the worldwide conflict.
