MEDCARE AT CARITAS IN DJIBOUTI

Djibuti.

The staff of the CIMIC cell in Djibouti, made up of Multinational CIMIC Group operators, in close coordination with the staff of the Health Service, conducted, at the local headquarters of Caritas, a medical care (MEDCARE) activity for the benefit of the population; an activity requested by the project manager of Caritas, Sara Ben Rached, as part of a complex of initiatives aimed at consolidating the appreciation of the local community.

The activity has received a lot of appreciation from both the patients visited and the staff of Caritas.

This initiative, like the previous ones, has also taken place in full compliance with safety procedures against the spread of coronavirus. 

The purpose of Djibouti's BMIS (Italian Military Support Base) mission is to provide logistical support to all Italian national components in transit over Djibouti engaged in the Horn of Africa and the Indian Ocean.
