KFOR: DONATION OF LAPTOPS
CIMIC Specialists planned and conducted a project to support the Kosovar Ministry of Education
Kosovo.
In recent weeks, CIMIC operators, as part of Regional Command West, have completed a donation of 34 laptops to the Ministry of Education, contributing to the development of distance learning for schools in Kosovo.
Thanks to the donation, teachers will have a tool for recording video lessons and streaming teaching, reducing the possibility of contagion related to the study in presence.
COM KFOR, Major General Michele Risi, was the most important military authority during the ceremony.
In recent weeks, the CIMIC team has carried out numerous projects for all communities living in the western region of Kosovo.
The assistance activities mainly concerned young people and the fight against Covid19, through the sanitization of school facilities and the donation of personal protective equipment.
The NATO KFOR mission has been operating since 1999 in accordance with the mandate of UN Resolution 1244 to contribute to the security and freedom of movement of all citizens in Kosovo, impartially assisting the development of all institutions and communities.
