SUSTAIN TO LOCAL POPULATION

MNCG Operators coordinated a health project for the collective welfare

Djibuti, December, 2021.
In recent weeks, the staff of the CIMIC cell of the Italian Military Support Base (BMIS) in Djibouti, finalized a project aimed at supporting the local health system.
This project provided for the supply of medicines, in this case of Thiocolchicoside, at the Community Health Centers, that is small clinics with little support by the competent Ministry but which, in reality, often represent the only entities able to guarantee medicines free of charge, especially to the most destitute groups and needed persons of the local population.
The project was born from an accurate assessment activity and in close coordination with the Banco Farmaceutico Onlus.
