MNCG Operators met CA soldiers to discuss project about vulnerable groups

Djibuti, December, 2021.
In recent weeks, the Italian Military Support Base (BMIS) staff, belonging to the CIMIC cell, met a US Civil Affairs team for East Africa in order to discuss about possible cooperation activities focused on the realization of infrastructure, socio-economic development and training projects, the so-called QIP (Quick Impact Project). Gender mainstreaming, health and sanitation issues were discussed during the meeting held in US Base “Camp Lemonnier”. Liasion activity with CA represents the strong willing, from both sides, to share experiences and met in the light of reaching common objectives.
