CARITAS AND MNCG TOGETHER AGAIN FOR A NEW PROJECT

The renovation of a sports complex in the Shinghani district has been completed

Somalia, January, 2022.
In recent weeks, in the Shinghani District, the closing ceremony of the renovation works for a soccer and basketball field took place thanks to a donation given by Caritas Somalia and conveyed by Multinational CIMIC Group operators deployed in Mogadishu.
The aim of the works is to improve sports infrastructures allowing young people to play sports safely and at the same time divert them to be recruited by criminal organizations.
The Somali Minister of Youth and Sport, present at the ceremony, thanked sincerely for the project and formalized the end of the works with a symbolic kick-off to a soccer ball.
