16th CIMIC Units Commanders’ Conference (CUCC) preparations start

The event, unique and exclusive within the Atlantic Alliance, of the CIMIC Units Commanders' Conference is fast approaching. For the 16th consecutive year, the CUCC will be organised and conducted by the Multinational CIMIC Group.
The conference theme for 2023 is 'Human Security in Operations (HSIO) and its implications in Collective Defence from a CIMIC perspective'. The objective of the event is to provide a comprehensive view of the subject in the conduct of manoeuvre in a classic warfare context, in order to enable commanders to understand the actions to be taken, confronting Non-Military Actors. The conference will take place in Oderzo from 26 to 30 June 2023, preparations are underway with the aim of maintaining the level of excellence achieved in previous years, recognised by NATO representatives andthe Authorities of the participating nations of the Multinational CIMIC Group (Italy, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Romania and Slovenia).
In addition to speakers from the Multinational CIMIC Group and NATO and PfP (Partnership for Peace) representatives, the conference will be attended by members of local authorities, Non-Governmental Organisations and academics. The aim is to offer the civil and military public the opportunity to interact, have open discussions on the proposed topics and gain a better understanding of the impact of the civil component on manoeuvre and vice versa.
The conference activities will take place at the 'Palazzo Foscolo' in Oderzo.
